NASA's Super Guppy N941NA visited Phoenix-Mesa Gateway on October 21, 2016 on its way from Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado to Moffet Federal Airfield, California.

Jonathan Navarro

Missed the NASA Super Guppy by one day but oh well. I'll take 5 T-38's instead...  :)

PREHISTORIC BEAST

Weird to see Willie almost bumped completely off the first page of the 'airports' board due to inactivity.  He's the Guppy that came through last October.

Will be happy when the ramp construction is complete in front of the park.  Should be soon to have aircraft parking out there again.

I went by Gateway yesterday to see if anything had come in.  I noticed the Bombardier communications trailer sitting on the ramp.  Does anybody know if Bombardier is or will be doing some aircraft testing in the near future?  CS Series?

That's usually the case.  I can swing by tomorrow at lunch and give an update.

One of their jets has been in town this past week.  It was parked to the north end of the park area in front of the FBO building.  I do not recall seeing it today when I drove thru.  Didn't see its tail peeking out above the buildings.
