Here's my first shot of an A-10 Warthog with the Gattling Gun blazing.
Look close and you can see the projectile at the far left of the frame.

Here are 25 men, AzAP members and guests, at Range 2, Gila Bend Bomb and Gunnery Range, today, 04.12.11.
They are watching F-16 Fighters from Luke AFB and A-10's from Davis Monthan AFB.
What is worthy of note is that no 2 men are looking in the same direction!

I got to go to this two years ago. It was put on by the Arizona Pilots Association but I didn't hear anything about it last year or this year. :-(
I loved hearing that Gau 8 gatling gun fire.

Cheers,

Nice shots.

What sort of focal length were you guys using? Maybe a better question is, how close are you guys to the passing jets?

200mm and up, Scott.  Stuff is pretty close.  Maybe 200-250 yards away when they're abeam the tower.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."
