With all the time and effort we spend chasing things with wings and rotors, it's quite refreshing when something literally lands on your doorstep!

This is London's Air Ambulance, which visited the park just 3 minutes from my front door this morning. Fortunately the helo wasn't called upon to lift a casualty to hospital as the accident it was attending was not as serious as first thought.

Very Nicely Captured!  I've heard that they do this in the UK much more so than in the US.  Pity...

Were the Skycranes headed for Australia. I think Erickson sends some down there every year for their summer, which of course is our winter. They must get paid pretty well if they can afford to ship them back and forth.
