Lines were getting strung like that 2 weeks ago next to my friends house out in Florence, when I saw them doing it, it was too far away to get any photos, weird that would posted after I just saw it being done.

The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Yeah I think among other things.  Never seen it in use. Its pretty clean too.  I think recently overhauled.
