Oh, I know exactly how that goes.  With these, I knew this would be my only chance to catch them, so I played it safe and went for sharpness.  Didn't really pay off since they were belly shots anyway.

Interesting how big the IRCM fairings look on such a small airframe. 

Bonus DorkJet in the background too!

Just a suggestion since I'm not down there to take the shot myself - a lower-angle close up of the nose of the one in the foreground with the nose of the one in the background visible but with a bit of DOF blur might look pretty darned mean.

Finally looked at my  shots more closely from last Thursday, the F-16s working with the AT-6 DIRKA were from AATC.

I was shooting on my ladder outside the fence at Million Air into the sun. Not many angles available. At least I was not bothered in parking lot of Million Air.
