Technically it's an A-36 Apache but since it's the progenitor of the Mustang, I guess it fits here:

I've been loving all these Apache shots from Chino - and I really dig the macro stuff.

It was a rare treat to see it fly.  Nicer still was being able to compare the entire heritage of the Mustang from A-36 to P-51D.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
