"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

I got the chance to photograph F-35A AA-1 at Edwards AFB on October 23, 2008.

I have more photos of the F-35 on my web site: Air-and-Space.com

Thanks Jeff, Kaspar, and Chris,

When I was at Luke for the training exercise that brought in the F-22 on January 28, more than one person claimed that an F-35 had visited Luke last year for noise evaluation.  Did anyone hear about it at the time?

All three photos are terrific, second one is my favorite.

Completely by chance, I happened to catch the first flight of AF-06 at Fort Worth on Friday. This is the first production aircaft to fly, and carries the markings of the 58 FS, 33 FW, complete with EG tailcodes.

Good catch!  Can't wait for F-35s to come to Arizona.
