Nice shot Bill.  I caught this bird leaving Sky Harbor this afternoon. No airborne shots, just taxing to the departure runway.

Had a CoNA painted C-12 shooting touch and goes at TIA.

This RC-12X was at Willie this afternoon. It has more stuff sticking out of it than a scarecrow.

I'm having a devil of a time panning with these prop planes at slower shutter speeds. The hazy background did not help. Oh well, you know how folks get to Carnegie Hall - practice, practice, practice.

Yet another one of my white whales.  Congrats on catching it.

The front-quarter panning shot is one of the toughest to get.  Looks like you did pretty well given the cards you were dealt.

p.s. Merged this post with the existing C-12 thread.

There's an interesting article about the RC-12 here. They're being upgraded now that the plane that was supposed to replace them has been delayed.

Thanks Joe for the comment and moving the photos to the right place. This is a very cool plane.

I believe the Guardrail replacement Aerial Common Sensor (ACS) program was cancelled.

That is definitely not your Uncle's King Air...

Nice work Ned and Bill.  Looks pretty inhospitable down there.
