Jay Beckman

He was the first one in the entire parade to bother dipping a wing to any great extent.  After the Albatross, the pilots did a better job of "showing off" for the crowd.

Earliest passes were nearly impossible to shoot and require extreme crops to even get them to show much at all.   :'(

Great photo Kaspar. I had to blink this morning when I first saw it. For some reason, it reminded me of the C-82 used in the movie "Flight of the Phoenix" with Jimmie Stewart. Maybe it is the aged finish on the aluminum skin? Anyhow, thanks for sharing.
