Shenyang J-5 - Taken at the Glendale Airport Air Show back in 2005 with my trusty EOS-20D. Basically a two-seat MiG-17 built in China.

Love this shot.  Quirky little afterburner unit.

Thanks guys! I stumbled across those while surfing my old files. I'll post more later.

The little tube sticking into the exhaust is for the smoke system but I think this aircraft has a short afterburner too. I know the MiG-17 did.

Unlike some air show pilots, this guy wasn't afraid to bank his airplane!

F-86F landing at Glendale. I like the way the pilot has his arm resting on the edge of the cockpit as if landing an F-86 is like driving a car down the street.

F-15C - Taken with my first "serious" digital camera, an EOS-10D and Canon 300mm f/4L IS.  Solid camera but short on pixels.

If that's Steve Hinton flying, it probably is like that.

I don't think so.  It's been a few years.  It was nice because the traffic was manageable and the sun was generally in a good direction.

"Executive Sweet" arriving at GEU. Unfortunately, the sun was on the wrong side on landing and then they parked it with the tail almost directly into the sun. The plane actually has "My Buck" on the right side and "Executive Sweet" on the left.
