I believe Allen Rockwell has outfitted his truck in a similar fashion for shooting outside Nellis.  No idea if he's been hassled about it.

The only thing possibly better than this would be a 42 foot RV with a roof patio/deck for 20 or 30 of your best friends.   ;D 8) :o

I'm actually working on setting my jeep up to be able to shoot from the room.  I can do it now but it's tough to climb up so I'm just working on a ladder that will hang off the side and can be removed easily.
