Hey guys!

We covered a lot of ground at our first meeting and much of what was discussed was instrumental in getting the website and forums set up.  Thanks to all who came and offered their input!

There are still some matters that need to be discussed and ironed out, and as such, we'd like to hold another meeting this month, preferably on July 11th.  Please sound off if you plan to attend.  As with the last meeting, non-attendance does not mean your voice won't be heard - if you can't make the agreed-upon date, please send me an email with your input and I will make sure it is brought to the table.

We're thinking about meeting at a restaurant in the Tempe/PHX area again, as it is more or less central, especially for those of us on the far east and west fringes of the Valley.  However, something a little cheaper than the buffet we met at last time might be a good idea.  Suggestions are welcome.

In terms of items to discuss in the meeting, here's a short list:

  • approval of a mission statement
  • review of website - what works, what doesn't, anything to add, etc.
  • member roles
  • photo posting guidelines (a provisional set of guidelines/tips will go up shortly, but this is something we should discuss further)

Those are the primary items for discussion that come to mind.  If you can think of any others, please feel free to add to the list or to mention them at the meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you all again.

All the best,

Joe Copalman

July 11 works best for me, I'm pretty sure I'll have to work on July 18.

As far as keeping it cheap, maybe we should try to meet for lunch.

The 11th sounds good for me. I'm also free on the 25th.

As I will not be back in the area until August 1st, I would like to be there, but would just appreciate any notes to be posted or emailed, and I if I come up with any they will be emailed as well.

So is the 11th firm now?

Time and place?

Yes, I'd say the 11th is firm, it looks like that works for most.  We just need to figure out a time and place now.

You don't concentrate on risks. You concentrate on results. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.

I'll have to play it by ear, but I should be able to make it.
