Looks like an E-2 from VAW-121 has gone down in the Persian Gulf area. Three rescued and one missing.

I liked BBC's story this morning (since corrected) that was calling the Hawkeye a 'jet'.

Just saw that I've had some external traffic linked to one of my Hawkeye shots from Willie.  Turns out this aircraft was one of two E-2s from VAW-121 that transited through back in July 2008.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."
