What are the details on this shot?
S.C.

There were some photographers from the Smithsonian there the same night we were there taking portraits of female fighter pilots, and the F-16 was towed out onto the pad outside the restoration hangar for their photoshoot.  They opted not to shoot it the night we were there, and since so few of us showed up, we were a small enough group for John to safely escort into the resto area to shoot it.

One of my two favorite images from this visit.  Excellent composition and framing Ross.  In my opinion, your decision to convert this particular image to black and white was a master stroke.  I don't think there is anyway it looks nearly as good in color.  Excellent work young man.

Golden Guppy

As they say, very well seen Brian.  For me, PASM's Guppy is difficult to photograph for a variety of reasons.  Your tight crop isolated some unique elements and allowed the props/spinners/nacelles shadows to abstractly reflect off the fuselage.  I would have thought that color would have been a blasé look for this airframe.  I would be wrong.  The color, while subdued, is a perfect canvas.  Excellent work sir.

Thanks for the kind words, Jeff. I saw it from a ways away and thought I'd give it a try. I couldn't be happier with the result!

Gorgeous Viper image Joe.  Wow!  Cover shot for sure.  I miss read the comment above and initially thought it was Scott's image until I saw it again with an explanation.  Wow, that's a beautiful image.
