The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Thank you all very much!  I really appreciate the kind words.

A lot went into the planning to make this happen.  Probably more waiting than planning though!  It was nine months from when the idea was floated until it finally came about.  The day before the flight the "choreography" for the shoot was worked over the phone with one of the F-35 pilots while I was stuck in a traffic jam in LA!  Against all odds, everything finally came together.

Thank you Harvey.  I will admit to having more than a couple of frames where the alignment wasn't so great!  I was shooting with a relatively slow firing D800E so I was lucky to catch them when they were lined up.
