"The U.S. government grounded Boeing's newest and most technologically advanced jetliner Wednesday, declaring that the 787 cannot fly again until the risk of battery fires is addressed.  The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said it would work with Boeing and U.S. airlines to develop a plan to allow the Dreamliner to "resume operations as quickly and safely as possible." The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will ground all US-registered Boeing 787s until Boeing demonstrates the lithium-ion-polymer batteries on board are safe.  The agency intends to issue an emergency airworthiness directive to "address a potential battery fire risk in the 787 and require operators to temporarily cease operations"...
