In air shots of Wickenburg

I'll be going up soon in a Cessna 172 to get some shots of the newly refinished runway.

Can anyone offer suggestions to make the runway/airport look good?

Afternoon light right now is awesome, but I don't know how well that will translate to a good wallhanging, which is what they want.

I saw some recent shots taken in in a casual manner, and there was a of haze over the airport in the shots. How will do the haze filters work? I have some, which I put on as protection for various lenses, more than anything else. I have since shelved them, noting that a lens hood offers up as good, or better protection than another layer of glass.
