Great subject and I share your love of aircraft relics. Most of these aircraft I have a memory of seeing in flight and that is something that the younger generation won't enjoy unless it's on film. I would enjoy a day trip to any kind of aviation bone yard, the older the better. Wonderful treatment on this Conny Jeff!

Harvey my brother - thank you. The Constellation is one of my all time favorite airframes. Unique lines that have never been duplicated in another platform. I remember seeing them at Sky Harbor while visiting my Dad at the Guard next door. Here is a quick video to whet your appetite for Connie's - https://youtu.be/dExlu488bM4

Regarding a day trip to shoot elderly airplane relics, such has been on my mind for a while now. I need to move my wishful thinking to action and get something planned. More to come...   ;)  ;D

We actually had an AMARG day trip approved last year and were waiting for the temps to come down a bit before settling on a date when the PAO staffer who approved it got deployed, and her replacement 86'ed the idea.  Gonna keep plugging way to that end for sure, but if other opportunities present themselves, I'd be interested as well.

The Constellation may arguably be the most beautiful aircraft ever made.  It would certainly get my vote.  I agree with Jeff, it could be my age (old), but yesterday's aircraft are so inspiring to see, even when they are deteriorating or being dismantled.

Beautiful photograph of a terrific airframe.  Well done Vance.
