The below site has a video from a San Francisco TV station. Shows the lens hood was EW-83H which for a Canon r EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens

I saw that.  They said damage was like $4500.  Damn that is almost 1/2 the cost to do an avg roof.....
