I read the story again and noticed that it says the last weekend in October. That would be the weekend after Copperstate.

Hey guys.  How about a "outside the fence"  BBQ?  I will bring my pit smoker and set up in a lot on the South side.  Pick the time and date. Could be a great AzAP social event.

Colin, I'm all over smoked meat, and this is great news on the revival of what was a great event.

I am so excited this is coming back! I used to go as a little guy and was sad to learn that while I was living in VA, the event had stopped.

It was always kinda confusing, walking in the show it looked dead but in the same day they had the most amazing Apache display, Tomcat passes ,B-2 fly-by and somewhere I have video od the whole event including an extremely fast low pass by a C-130A Tanker that used to make its rounds to the various airshows

not my videos, but from the show

One year, back in the 1990s on a Friday, I took my son out for arrivals. We got out on the flight line and enjoyed a nice, close up afternoon watching all sorts of aircraft coming in for the show. I can't wait for this gig.

That was always my favorite part of the show...arrival Friday and departure Sunday. One year I was given access to the top of one of the hangars on the west side and it was awesome watching the aircraft depart at eye level.
