Here are the guidelines for POTM, as discussed at the group meeting on July 11, 2009.

Guidelines for POTM Nomination:

  • The photo must have been posted to the forum between the 16th of the current month and the 15th of the following month.
  • Each member can nominate one photo (choose wisely, you cannot change your nomination).
  • When the poll opens you are allowed one vote, you can change your vote if you change your mind (until the poll closes), but you cannot vote for your own photo.

POTM Structure

  • POTM will be displayed on the AzAP homepage from the 1st through the end of the month.
  • Nominations will be from the 16th through the 15th of each month.
  • The poll will be open from the 16th through the 22nd.
  • The winner will have from the 23rd through the end of the month to email me the photo for display.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
