I want to make a joke involving a tripod (or lack thereof) but will take the high road this time.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Goodness knows, we need to keep the tone of this forum high. That's why I didn't post the rest of the pictures I took that day.

You don't concentrate on risks. You concentrate on results. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.

I had already decided it wasn't appropriate to upload the pictures in question to this forum. Jay's reasons are similar to those I had already thought of. In addition, I didn't want to offend anybody or have anybody risk sleeping on the couch if their significant other happened to look over their shoulder while they were viewing the forum in general, although the photos are not really that bad, nothing worse than photos freely available on Flickr.  ;)

I have placed the "C-47" photos in a restricted album on my Picasaweb site. I will post a link in the Members section that will allow you access to it if you choose to click it.
