Very tall in person. The pontoons really add to the height. I had no idea, but the same aircraft is used for cop dusting and fire fighting.

Very versatile airframe.  Probably can do lots of different jobs depending on what they hang off of it...

Floats really make a plane more "statuesque."  There's a Cessna 206 around the valley somewhere (I've been in line behind it at Stellar buying gas and we've seen it at Coolidge) and it felt like the pilot was 30' off the ground just when he was behind the wheel.

They also made a light-attack variant to compete in the Air Force's LAAR program, which it looks like the AT-6B/C has cinched up with little notice.  One was at Casa Grande shortly before Copperstate, but apparently was only a transient and not there for the fly-in.

Great catch, and I love that wing-dip shot.  The wide-angle static shot is awesome as well.  Good work all-around.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Thanks Joe. I still feel I need to spend more time on getting the shots with lower shutter speeds on prop aircraft, but I'm new at this, so it will hopefully come with time.

Lol, not something I would have ever expected to see on floats but then again why not.

And your prop blur is just fine.  ;D

The wide shot made today's Wickenburg Sun.

Now, if could only make it to the big leagues.  ;D
