Hope his insurance will still pay off despite the fact the FD drowned the airframe for really no good reason...

(I get that it's SOP but still, the probability of fire is very low.  Tanks are in the wings and the two last things on the check list are Master OFF and Fuel Shut Off Valve OFF so there's no gas and no spark.)
