The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

It does look fun.  They haven't contacted me about doing any photos.

This might be cool to take my Mustang to, just the fact that race gas is $6.99 a gal still sucks. I think I'll try and plan on going though.

Hmmm ok this is the same day as the El Centro show so probably will not go now lol.

Chris,

The El Centro Airshow is on the 13th, but it's in March, not February.  Looks like you can still hit both shows.

I was over there this afternoon, sans camera.  I went to listen to Col. Loingnon, a retired SR-71 RSO, speak about his experiences with the Blackbird.  He has some good stories, ones that only come from someone that worked with the plane and that you probably won't read in any book.  He also debunked some of the more recent email 'legendary' Blackbird stories that aren't actually true.

I did a quick walk around the tarmac area, just outside the hangar.  There were a TON of mustangs parked out there.  Some nice vintage stuff and some of the new models too.
