The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

MEDIUM-HEAVY

This weekend I interviewed a couple of retired Marines who flew the CH-53D in combat over Iraq for a book I'm writing, inspired me to go though my old WTI shots from back when the old Deltas were still participating.  Such a cool helicopter to shoot - all the mass of a CH-53E, but without the refueling probe forcing awkward framing.  That gloss gray paint scheme was great as well.
