The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

BLACKBIRD

Shot at El Centro when I was there covering the British Apaches for AFM.  WTI was going on, and VMFA-115 was on a blue air det to support the course from NAFEC.  I ignored most of the non-British aircraft there that day because I was busy, but made an exception for this beautiful Hornet.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."
