I know in the past you could not attend unless you were to fly in, but our group is pretty well established and maybe some strings can be pulled so we can shoot it

I could be a fun and interesting shoot if we could get good access. I envision a neat juxtaposition of GA and military aircraft not typically seen by most folks.

It mentions a trip to one of the TAC ranges.  Worth looking into.

It said in the info:
There is some flexibility for attendees. First, you can either fly or drive in. Arrival will be on the morning of the 19th (Fri). If you drive, you can leave at any time; if you fly, departure options are discussed below.

I think your all good. I'll probably fly in but would just be coming from DVT. :-)

Cheers,
Chris

Looks like participation is restricted to FAA-licensed pilots.

Man, if they won't go for that, they certainly won't go for a jackass like me who spends most of his FSX sim time trying to land helicopters on top of ATC towers.

I don't think there's a lot of potential there for photos anyway, although I can see myself going down there for arrivals, since there is a two hour window for everybody to arrive. Just 40 GA aircraft though.
