This document details all of the changes and proposed changes. One of the items for Fiscal Year 2013 is retirement of three "Backup Aircraft Inventory (BAI)" KC-135s from Sky Harbor. (Would that be all of the aircraft that are there?)

Fiscal year 2013 begins October 1, 2012.

Can't swear to it but I thought I saw a breakdown that showed PHX might lose two aircraft.

Great find, Chris!

Another point of interest for us is that the retirement of the ANG's RC-26 fleet is mentioned alongside the transfer of the MC-12W fleet from ACC to the ANG.  Hopefully this means that some states that lose their RC-26s will retain their Homeland Security ISR mission with the MC-12s, rather than consolidating with a single squadron at a single base.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

I mis-read the part about the Sky Harbor KC-135s. It says three BAI aircraft, but two are at other bases. Only one is listed from PHX.

Keep in mind that this is just a budget proposal. By the time Congress gets through with it, it will probably look a lot different. Congressmen all say they want to reduce spending, just not in their districts.
