My daughter's school had a field trip to Challenger this morning and I was a chaperone.

According to one of the Center staff - the Smithsonian exhibit is NOT open during the Stargazing event.  If you want to see the Smithsonian pictures - it has to be during normal Center hours.

It looks like some posts may have gone missing but I thought someone said the gallery was not available in the evenings so that would make a group outing problematic...

They are open Sat and Sun, 10am to 4pm.
