The most impressive part of this photo contest was that we had so many diverse and original photos to offer - no run-of-the-mill photos from AzAP members. Dynamite!!

Barry, that's exactly what I loved about it as well.  Even in the initial photo post thread where everyone participated, there were very few submissions that had a "Ho hum, I've seen this shot before" feel to them, and even if they were more conventional, they were still pretty solid shots.  I wish a few more shooters had participated, but still, I could not be happier with the submissions we had and the ones we sent on to NAFEC.
