I was at Apache lake last weekend 21-22 May on board our friends wake boat when these two came past over the day.

This was a nice surprise and managed to take many hundreds of pictures of power boast, jet skis wake boarders and many more will post them on my flickr page

Did the Albatross land on the lake? That's the one that usually sits at DVT, except in the summer when I think they take it to Flagstaff. I saw them working on the engines on Tuesday. Every time they fly it, for a while afterward the engine cowlings are off. The engines must need a lot of maintenance.

No it did not land, there are too many pleasure craft on the lake, but it was great to see it.

That Albatross got shot up at DVT the other day. Actually, they only mention one bullet hole, but some idiot fired several shots at it apparently.
