Did some air to air for MD Helicopters a while back. While there the Air Rescue Systems 902 stopped in for some maintenance. It's a stunningly beautiful aircraft. Function and Form!

If anyone has any pics of N503RT, a 1959 Aero Commander 500, I'd sure be interested in them (new or old).  My family owned the aircraft in the 80's and kept it at CHD.  I have heard it's been spotted still in the local area.

Of interest is the placement of the tail sections of the B-52s.  As part of the 1991 START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) between Russia and the US the tail sections of the decommissioned B-52s are to be placed at a 30 degree angle to and aft the remaining portion of the aircraft and left for at least 60 days.  This serves to allow the Russians to verify by satellite that the aircraft had been destroyed.
