This Sat. 4-26-14 is the 4th Sat. of the month and KCGZ will host the monthly Sat. Breakfast Fly-in
Starts about 7:30 and runs till about 10:00 o'clock.

Last Saturday of month breakfast fly-in at Casa Grande Muni

My Capture My AZ calendars arrived today...the Calendar competition some of us sent pics in...sponsored by local PBS channel 8.

I told Jay that with 'tree hugger' judges, doubted that any airplane pics would make it...well, none made it to pic of a month, but 4 did make it to the thumb nail pics...one on the inside cover of 2 helos flying over the AF Thunderbirds on the ramp. Another inside on the Feb 2013 page of 4 Stearman bi-planes. I lucked out with two pics...on March 2013 my pic of Super Corsair Racer 57 front cowling and prop close-up and another on the March 2014 page of 'Big Red' a Stearman I shot at CG muni.

Didn't make the cover or a bigee of a month, but little pics are a start.

Bill...FYI,

Good pics...Tom Ungurean is the owner, but the pilot was most likely Bob Odegaard.
After Coolidge he flew over to Cactus Fly-in at CG.
Beautiful plane...he met up with Racer #57 piloted by Larry Perkins at Cactus.
Only the 2nd time these two planes had been together since 1949 and the first time for
a major public function.
