Thanks for the info this will be a good way for me to test the waters. I have a pilot I really trust and I am sure I will have a blast doing this!

I will be in a bush plane with no door and shooting a spanish light attack jet. My pilot did not give me a lot of info to go off of.

I am getting together with one of my pilots to take some air to air shots at sunset. I have never done this before. Any tips and or reccomended settings to try?

This is one of the best airshows I have been to it has plenty of variety here. Also hanging out at the pylons are a ton of fun! Then the pits are always busy so there is no lack of stuff to watch or thke pictures of any time of the day. Lastly dont forget to hang with the cool people in section 3.

No the student's totally depend on the IP. They are always under the IP's care. Once the student graduates they either become an IP in a training unit or get sent to a gaurd/reserve/active duty combat coded unit.

We were one big happy family like 2 years ago all AMU's were disbanded and became an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) with that they took away all identity of squadrons so many of the tails became vanilla tails with no squad markings. That changed so we are now catching up to getting all acft with their proper squad markings. We are back to individual AMU/Fighter Squadrons. Thank goodness.

I know there is always a student and an instructor pilot. I would assume that the instructor would show the student how to do the manuver and then the student performs the manuver going lower in altitude each time they pass/meet their goal. It could also be two instructor pilots, one more experienced IP will upgrade the other.

The nose is open and lots of people running around. I watched but saw nothing come out. There is a large load of cargo sitting on the ramp though. Hope she stays overnight.
