A Continental 767-400(ER) touches down at Houston Bush Intercontinental.
How often does this 767 takeoff, Ive only seen it in the morning when I am heading someplace and not at the airport.
Typically around 8am, I think. You can check on FlightAware, that's how I've caught it before.

Looks like they finally added some color to these birds. I believe they were parked at Dulles for several months before come here.
Is this Swift's or Cutter's bird?
Same one they wanted volunteers for for evacuation certification?
Swift. Not the one we volunteered for the evac drill on though, this is it's stablemate. This one is currently at KPAE. The other one had its front half inside Swift's hangar today. Neither have been repainted.
The one 767 has the stripes, the other is plain. Here is another of the painted one and the cockpit of the other.

From the looks of it and the chrome around the engine intakes and leading edge slats id say this is the private jet for Mr Clean
New Generic Airline...
yeah needs a blue stripe and have it say "airline" just like the old grocery store generic brands
Or a Red Stripe and people could cheer: "Hooray! Airline..."
Now that sounds like a fantastic idea but then again so the "official" Hooters airline
A wide red stripe and a trip to McCarren could make it a Mother Hen to the Janet birds 8)
Check out this bird on Airliners.net, when it was with MaxJet Airways. Had a pretty nice paint scheme then.

I concur with Barry, great catch sir. I am definitely jealous as I've never seen a triple 7 and KPHX. It has been my understanding I'd have to go to LAX for such a treat. KTUS is certainly much closer. Is this a regular flight?
It is not a regular flight. It was going to Ascent Aviation (the old Hamilton Aviation site) for what I don't know.

Anna, Another very nice Sky Harbor shot. Was this a 200-400 shot or are you back to your normal equipment?
Thank you Scott....
This was with the Canon 200-400. Still have a few more Sky Harbor shots to post from that weekend over the next few days.
The EXIF data shows this was shot at 400mm. Was on the Rio Salado path at 48th St. Practically standing under the approach path.

Could this be some secret Boeing development...a supersonic 767, seen here with a bow wave emanating from the nose...or just a darn lucky shot of a 767 crossing in front of the moon?!

This is a great catch Dave, the timing and the eye to see this was a possibility is outstanding work. Congrats!

I've not been much of a 767 fan in the past. The fuselage always seemed a bit squatty and rotund to me. Your last two photos of the UPS bird has me reconsidering. Nice work Anna.

This was a pleasant surprise yesterday. I wasn't aware of how Boeing shaped the wingtip on the new(er?) 767-400's. Sort of reminiscent of the 787 Dreamliner's raked wingtip.

Boeing 767-200 Airborne Surveillance Testbed (AST) N767BA at the Southern California Air Logistics Center, Victorville on June 17, 2005. It was used to monitor ICBM launches and simulated warhead re-entries at Kwajalien Atoll. Boeing modified the prototype 767 for the Army Airborne Optical Adjunct (AOA) Program in the mid-1980s.
A 767 favorite of mine from a trip down under. A Qantas 763 approaches the runway with downtown Sydney as a backdrop. Bit of an odd composition, but I love how it came out.

I like the lower one, less distractions in the background, both are good though ;D
