We are now accepting nominations for the June 2014 POTM.
You are allowed to nominate TWO (2) photos for POTM. Please keep track of your nominations.
The nominations do not have to be given at the same time, just within the POTM timeframe.
To nominate a photo, click on the link within the post that says "Report to moderator" and enter a comment requesting to nominate this photo for POTM. This will send us an email letting us know which photo you would like to nominate. If there is more than one photo within the post please remember to let us know which photo you are nominating. You may also include a comment indicating the reason why you think the photo deserves consideration for POTM, such as composition, uniqueness, special lighting or other conditions, etc.
Please remember:
1. The photo must have been posted to the forum between the 15th of April. and the 20th of May. This gives photos posted right at the end of the previous month's nomination time-frame an opportunity to be discovered.
2. Each member can nominate two photos (choose wisely and keep track, you cannot change your nominations).
3. Photos should prominently feature an aircraft.
4. When the poll opens you are allowed one vote, you can change your vote if you change your mind (until the poll closes), and you can vote for your own photo. Results will only be shown after the poll period has ended.
5 Please do not post any comments about the photos which have been nominated, until after voting has closed.
You may vote for your own photo when the poll is open.
The winning photo will be displayed in the slideshow on the AzAP main page (http://azaerophoto.com) and the AzAP Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/azaerophoto). The winning photo will be on display for the entire month.

Voting is now open for the June 2014 POTM.
Congratulations Scott, another win with another truly awesome photos!
Congrats Scott; well deserved for sure.
Congrats Scott! Beautiful Shot.
Thank you very much for the kind words guys. That was a tricky situation. I had to underexpose during much of that flight because of the backlight. Didn't think I could recover much from it. Add to that the somewhat slow shutter speeds because of the rotors. Always amazed I get anything good at all. Those situations cause a lot of anxiety!
Scott, congrats! Your work is always impressive and you are a humble man. Great talent always shows through.
Thank you very much Harvey!

Whatever you're taking for anxiety seems to be working. Phenomenal work as always, and under what would have been challenging conditions no matter what the light situation was.

Thank you Joe! I have a little coffee in the morning but if anything it's counterproductive. With the IS turned on I just about break even.
Congrats!
