Title: DC-3/C-47 today heading north, off from Sky Harbor
Post by: phxtoad on January 25, 2013, 01:32:08 PM
Anyone catch it?  11:30 a.m. today.  It looked 'new', glossy white with gray on the lower fuselage.  It buzzed our offices climbing out near 48th/Washington.  Really nice!

I looked at the DC-3/C-47 thread.  It may have been one of the 'Spirit of ____" aircraft.  It had the blue stripes...

It was probably this one. It left DVT at 1355 headed for PHX.

Probably!  I was having a complete crap day until I saw her fly over.  I miss the old C-45 cargo bird that used to fly out of PHX every morning over our offices.  Not many round engines in central Phoenix anymore...

Thanks Chris.
