S-1 Swift glider- the first half of his show was done while being towed by a Piper Pawnee at the same time also flying formation with a SA180 Silent Twister kit plane.

One from the top of South Mountain yesterday. This guy liked the shot so much he offered me a free tandem flight! Might just take him up on that.

That is an AWESOME shot Chris!  The rays of sunlight and cloud cover makes it stunning!  It could almost be used as a metaphor for freeing ones-self from the monotony of suburbia... with the Ahwautukee McMansions below!  ;)

That is a very cool shot Chris.

Before all that part of Ahwautukee was built up, I saw about 10 hanggliders launch from the top of South Mountain one day.  Didn't have a camera that day, but it was pretty cool to watch them.

VFR or IFR?
On a different note why do I get this colour tone (purple tinge) when I convert the image from RAW to JPEG?

Did some air to air shots for a friend at the glider club a week or two back. 1957 Type 45 Slingsby Swallow

This particular T-45 is one of, I believe, 2 left in the states and the last one ever made before the factory burnt down.

My wife and I each went for a glider ride a couple days ago! While she was flying, I went shooting... Fun stuff to watch!
