I'm having a devil of a time panning with these prop planes at slower shutter speeds. The hazy background did not help. Oh well, you know how folks get to Carnegie Hall - practice, practice, practice.

The front-quarter panning shot is one of the toughest to get. Looks like you did pretty well given the cards you were dealt.

There's an interesting article about the RC-12 here. They're being upgraded now that the plane that was supposed to replace them has been delayed.

Very cool shot Joe, You caught him in a good spot. I always like shooting an aircraft sitting on the piano keys. It reflects nice light under the aircraft.
