Wow Joe for some reason im really taken by this one, I love the colors in sky and you can just see some outline details in the '74', great just great

Thanks guys, been after this shot for a while.  The winds and my availability were finally in my favor, and the clouds were a welcome bonus.

747-8i departing Gateway on a test flight.  Looks like they had to cut this visit short, hopefully the come back and bring something a bit more colorful.

Shot this today from my second floor office.

Caught this behemoth while on tour with the CAF this year.  Feels like I won the lottery after we spent an entire week at Paine Field.

Anyone feel like taking a stab at how many rivets were used on this one?

With Mt. Rainier in the background, this Dreamlifter is lifting off from Paine Field, headed to Charleston, SC. for another load of 787 'parts'.

A big one and a small one...

According to my calculations (using the info supplied during the Boeing Plant Tour), there's about $1.5 billion dollars captured in this image (a mix of 747-8's and 787's at Paine Field).

The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."

What was the registration on the Biman 747?

White tail Boeing 747-8Z5 N5020K made a cross coiuntry tour today with a stop at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway.  It will be delivered to Abu Dhabi Ameri Flight registered as A6-PFA.

It landed on Runway 30 Right at 4:29.

It departed from Runway 30 Center at 5:34, just a few minutes before sunset.

My take on the white tail Boeing 747-8i that paid a visit to KIWA yesterday, 10/14/2011.

You really start to wonder why Boeing just doesn't extend that hump all the way to the tail.  It's about halfway there now.

Shortly before sunset, she took to the skies for her return trip back to Everett.
