Thats got some thing new added to it. ??

It's one of the 586th FLTS birds out of Holloman.  They have a few T-38s with all sorts of non-standard pylons and probes and such.

Cool shot, Ned.  Haven't seen one in that scheme yet.

Really nice image Jay! Those black T-38s are tough to shoot.  The clouds really work well.

Agreed, Beale, Holloman, and Whiteman -38s are all total glare monsters.  Some of the few aircraft best shot on cloudy days.

Talons at Luke:

 Northrop AT-38B-40-NO Talon 61-0866 of the 57 FWW based at Nellis AFB, landing at Luke on February 17, 1975. It was retired to AMARC as TF0111 on August 30, 1991.


Northrop T-38A-40-NO Talon 61-0851 of the 4477th TES landing at Luke on November 25, 1985.

2,000 total hours. 1,000 front seat landings and 1,000 back seat landings - it was awesome!
