HORNET ON THE GOGH

I've been obsessed with this app called Prisma over the last few days.  It is available for iOS and Android and renders photos so that they look like photos.  There are something like 30 filters, all applying a different effect.  It's been fun going through and finding images that A) work with Prisma's square format, and B) match up with the various filters in the app.  This filter is 'Candy' and it applies Van Gogh-like swirls to midrange tones in an image while leaving the blacks black and the whites white, though it does seem to sort of mute shadows to create a sort of pastel effect.

That would make a pretty cool poster for a kids bedroom Joe.

BLUE ON BLUE

One I hadn't gotten to yet from a 2012 trip.  This was my favorite of all the fixed-wing CoNA schemes.

You never know what will present itself... Blues practice on 2 Mar 17. Farmers burning their fields south of "the field." The Blue's Diamond rolled out just north of the burning fields and added some of their own smoke!
