We are now accepting nominations for the November 2016 POTM.
You are allowed to nominate TWO (2) photos for POTM.  Please keep track of your nominations.
The nominations do not have to be given at the same time, just within the POTM timeframe.

To nominate a photo, click on the link within the post that says "Report to moderator" and enter a comment requesting to nominate this photo for POTM.  This will send us an email letting us know which photo you would like to nominate.  If there is more than one photo within the post please remember to let us know which photo you are nominating.  You may also include a comment indicating the reason why you think the photo deserves consideration for POTM, such as composition, uniqueness, special lighting or other conditions, etc.

Please remember:
1. The photo must have been posted to the forum between the 15th of September and the 20th of October.  This gives photos posted right at the end of the previous month's nomination time-frame an opportunity to be discovered.
2. Each member can nominate two photos (choose wisely and keep track, you cannot change your nominations).
3. Photos should prominently feature an aircraft.
4. When the poll opens you are allowed one vote, you can change your vote if you change your mind (until the poll closes), and you can vote for your own photo.  Results will only be shown after the poll period has ended.
5  Please do not post any comments about the photos which have been nominated, until after voting has closed.

You may vote for your own photo when the poll is open.

The winning photo will be displayed in the slideshow on the AzAP main page (http://azaerophoto.com) and the AzAP Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/azaerophoto).  The winning photo will be on display for the entire month.

Matt, Can you extend the deadline through to Sunday evening.  I promise to spend some time on Sat or Sun to make some nominations.

I was planning to extend it through Monday. I was going to publish a post this evening, but this'll do.

So, officially you have through this Monday to nominate your favorite two photos.

Sorry I haven't gotten this going sooner, but my Mom has been in the hospital all week, and that and family being in town has taken much of my free time.  Anyway, I'll get this thread updated and the poll up and going in a moment.
