Nice Dave. I thought I knew how to photograph birds until I tried hummingbirds. Taking the winter off to study for the summer.  Cry

James,

Thanks.  First time I've ever tried.  Started with a wide open aperture (for the fastest shutter speed), and then I sat there waiting for fleeting moments when they'd come take a drink.

Helped a buddy shoot UofA @ ASU on Saturday.

Gallery of images is Here.  Check the in the bottom right corner but I'd say 75% of the shots are mine.

It was a lot of fun but I'm sore as hell today!

Thanks very much.

It was difficult though to not shoot the airliners passing overhead.  I'm still an aviation guy at heart!  Grin

Something aviation-related that isn't, but it is, kinda, sorta...

From well out in Left Field...

I just got an email informing me that I'd been selected as an "Outstanding Gallery" at http://www.todaysphoto.org/
(I'm like the third or fourth link down their page)

Unexpected but certainly welcome PR for my efforts!!  Grin
