From the cell phone lot at SAN yesterday. Waiting on Delta cargo (our new pet parrot) and noticed an interesting angle on approaching airplanes.
~ Shortly after this while wandering down a public road, shooting straight up at a pair of T-45's (that had just departed North Island) and the Moon overhead I was asked by a USAir cargo employee to stop taking pictures. I very respectfully and with a smile mentioned that I was on a public road, there are no signs anywhere prohibiting photography, and there was no confidential anything to be seen anywhere around. He said "airport policy - no pictures!" I did not have time to argue, deal with his manager, the cops, the TSA or anyone else, so I stopped shooting. Silliness.
"Could be worse... Could be raining."
