Haven't been to 40th St in almost a year, nice to see the path put in, easier to get different angles now.  Nothing too exciting while I was there waiting for my wife to return from Atlanta, just a Sun Country in a Transavia scheme.

Finally got around to editing some shots from the Holiday Heavies meetup back in December.

Finally caught this bad bird in good light today. And the backdrop isn't half bad either.

Nice shot.  It might just be me but I feel as if everything is sliding to the right.

Man... Really loving your panning shots, Ross. You're becoming quite proficient at them and making me jealous!

Thank you Dr.Corbett. My last few trips to 40th street I have really put a focus on shooting at 1/30th,1/15th, and 1/13th of a second. Shooting with Anna's 300mm paired with my 1Ds increased my keeper rate exponentially.  Don't be jealous with a little practice you'll be top notch in no time.

life comes at you fast. that's why its good to always be prepared.

Didn't quite nail it entirely, but knowing that I was at 1/40th I can somewhat accept the rear of aircraft being slightly blurred.
