Penn State's 777 charter lifting off for the return to Harrisburg on this gloomy, overcast morning.  As a bonus for sticking out the chilly weather that I hadn't planned on, caught the American A330 departing for Charlotte just a few minutes after Penn State's 777.

Outstanding work Jay.  Definitely a "fly me to the moon" composition  ;)

During my outing this am for the Blood Moon, captured this 'late' in the morning, just as the sun was rising.  Sort of a different view of Sky Harbor than I'm used to.

Terrific work David.  While I'm sure you've considered it, I'm hoping that some evening you'll do a long exposure from this location that will ultimately show a ton of light trails from departing/arriving aircraft.  I'm thinking it could be epic.  One minor quibble with this image, your watermark is too large and distracting for my taste.  Just my personal opinion, so feel free to ignore an old man's carping  ;)

Jeffe,

This particular shot was taken not from the top of 'A' mountain, but from lower down with much easier (less exertion) access.  Will try your idea and do some long exposure stacking to see just how many I can capture.  Will be interesting to see how close the flight paths line up.

Regarding the watermark - couldn't agree more.  I was at the studio and didn't have access to my usual setup.  Therefore, I plead for your forgiveness of my indiscretion.
