Wow, wow, wow....   Magnificent shot Jeff.

It's all your fault Anna. You've set the bar awful high for an old shooter like me  ;)

I'm not shooting with you two anymore!  ;D   Welker you 'ol fox what a great back door shot, you know what I mean....

Anna, just terrific panning shot, congrats.

Thanks Scott and Harvey. Several things combined this evening that really helped me. With the inversion all day, haze/pollution/dust was trapped on the surface across the valley. As the sun was disappearing behind the Estrella Mountains, the haze/pollution/dust created some amazing colors and transitional tonalities. Gratefully, there were no clouds to interfere and I got the full treatment of colors from cool to warm.

Thank you Harvey and Scott.  The magic is in the sky and lighting in the "blue hour" before dawn and dusk.  I just need to make sure I do not ignore my alarm clock.  Especially hard since I am more of a night owl, then a morning person.

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

^^^^ Nice image Paul. It was nice to shoot with you this morning.

This just may be (the jury is still out) my favorite image from the 2014 edition of Holiday Heavies. Since it isn't exactly "Heavy", I'll post it here. Not sure why, but these abandoned, forsaken, and orphaned airplanes always get my attention. This Cessna 310A is no exception.

Hey Guys!

We had a great day out at KPHX earlier today. I rather enjoyed getting to meet Joe, Jeff, Anna, Matt, et al. A few highlights from me.

Definite surprise! What a treat. She got a water cannon salute when she came back. Perhaps a Fini flight?
