It's not too often we get a 747 here in Yuma. While checking to see if the 737 MAX 8 was going to fly today, I noticed this Atlas Air 747-400 inbound from BWI. Jumped in the truck and got to the airport (10 minutes away!!) in time to snap a couple shots from the dunes. Sadly Yuma was on north flow which is not the best for sunset lighting, but it was nice to watch. "Giant" left a couple hours later for ANC - I shot the departure but it was quite dark - dots on a black field.

Wonder what it was transporting....  Arizona Cardinals to Canton, Ohio for the Hall of Fame Game perhaps.
